In the event you need to make changes to the QuickBooks Online accounts and/or service items you are syncing with MONESQ, you can easily edit these mappings in your QuickBooks Online integration settings. If you have questions about which accounts or service items to select from QuickBooks Online, we recommend consulting with your bookkeeper or accountant before making any changes.
Editing your QBO sync settings
Log in to MONESQ and select 'Settings' from the left menu:
Select the 'Integrations' tab from the Settings screen:
On the integrations tab, on the right side of the 'QuickBooks Online' tile, click the ellipsis menu and select 'Edit':
With the reception of your initial QBO login and contact sync screens, this produces the same functional tabs you populated when you initially integrated your QuickBooks Online account: 'Operating account & service items', 'Discounts, refunds, & merchant fees', and 'Trust account'.
Navigate among these tabs using the 'Back to previous step' or 'Continue' buttons located at the bottom of the screen:
Edit your QBO account and service item mappings as you have need. The on-screen field descriptions and help text provide useful information about accounts and service items, and how MONESQ integrates with them. When you are ready, navigate to the 'Trust account' tab and click 'Finish setup' to save your mapping changes:
