From the Dashboard, select the 'Matters' page from the menu bar on the left side. You will see a list of all current matters in this view. You can also create a new matter by clicking on the white '+' sign (left corner). You can search matters by either ‘status’ (active or closed) as well as by ‘contact’ and ‘team member.’ Additionally, there is a tab in the top line to toggle between a tile view and a list view, as well as a ‘privacy’ tab (right corner). The ellipsis menu next to the matter allows you to edit the matter.
Click on any matter to see an overview of their trust account balance, what they have paid, what is due, and what is overdue. You can choose to look at the ‘Overview’ of the matter, as well as the detail about ‘Invoices’, ‘Transactions’, ‘Time entries’, ‘Flat fees’, and ‘Files’ associated with the matter. Matter status will be labeled either ‘active’ or ‘closed’.
