The following steps will walk you through getting signed up for your MONESQ Plus Account.
Please use the email address associated with your law firm’s domain (for example, 'firstname.lastname@example.org'). If you do not have an email address associated with your law firm's domain, please email email@example.com and request an exception.
Choose a secure Password (at least 8 characters and at least one of each of the following: uppercase letter, lowercase letter and number).
If you have a discount code, click "I have a promo code" and enter it.
When you're ready, click "Agree and continue"
Check your email and click on the button to 'Activate account' to continue your registration. If you do not receive an email from us please check your spam folder.
If you attempt to sign in before you have verified your email, you will be presented with the following screen. You may click the 'Send verification email' button to initiate another verification email. If you cannot find your verification email, please contact our support team at firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling 888-568-5068.
Tell us a little about you, and click 'Save & continue':
Select your plan.
Select the solution that best fits your firm's needs. Select Plus to add time and expense tracking, matter management, event, task or deadline calendar entries, trust accounting, and enhanced QBO integration.
Begin setting up your account by clicking 'Get Started'
Welcome to the MONESQ dashboard!
You may begin using many of the features of your MONESQ Plus account right now. However, to complete your setup and start using MONESQ fully, you must link your operating account. To do so, click the blue "Complete your account setup" button in the top right.
Completing the Know Your Business (KYB) form and linking your operating account
Once you click 'Complete your account setup' you will be presented with the KYB form, which serves as your merchant application. KYB is a regulatory requirement to verify customers’ identities. Completing this form will link your operating account and allow you to start accepting online payments once approved. You can then link your trust account. This is highly recommended for any attorney managing trust accounts, as MONESQ is designed to keep operating funds from commingling with trust funds throughout the billing process.
Populate your business information here. Be sure to use your legal business name, the name that appears on your official documentation and your bank account. Your federal tax ID should be your government-supplied EIN, or your social security number if you are a sole proprietor.

Control person & owners
A control person is a person with significant responsibility to control, manage, or direct the merchant entity. Examples include managing partner, managing member, general partner, or any other individual who regularly performs similar functions. Each firm must have a control person identified. This person may or may not be an owner.
You must also ensure that each person owning more than 25% of the business is listed in your merchant application If you need to add additional owners, click the green '+' button:
When you're ready, click 'Link operating account'
Terms & conditions
Agree to Terms and Conditions by checking the box to certify that you have read and agree to the Credit Card and ACH terms and conditions, then click 'Submit':
NOTE: Please don't close the page after you click the 'Agree and Finish' button. You will be automatically redirected within 15 seconds.
Congratulations! Your application has been successfully submitted. Once approved, you will receive a confirmation email.
Linking your Trust account
Your MONESQ Plus account allows you to manage your trust account in full compliance with ILOTA and ABA rules, but you must first link your trust account. This means you will complete another merchant application - this time for your trust account.
Follow the banner instructions at the top of the Dashboard to finish an additional merchant application for your trust account:
If you skipped this step and do not see setup instructions, select 'Settings' from the left navigation bar and then the accounts tab:
Click the arrow next to the 'Link trust account' tile, and enter your trust bank account information. When ready, click "Link trust account:
