Users can narrow the list of files and folders in order to quickly access relevant documents.
Use the magnifying glass to search for text in your list. This can be the name of a file, a person's name or entity name.
To find a specific file type, narrow results by filtering by category.
Below is a list of file types under each designation.
- All files (default selection)
- Documents (.pdf, .xls, .xlsx, .doc, .docx, .txt, .ppt, .ppts)*
- Media (.png, .jpg, .mp3, ,mov, .avi, .mp4, .gif) *
- Other (all other extensions)*
Filter by either files only or folders only with the next dropdown menu. When a selection is made, only results fitting that record type are visible.
Further, users can filter files that are attached to Invoices, Transactions, Expense & Time Entries & Flat Fees, or contacts. Click 'Attached to' in order to filter in this manner.
Users may filter by date the file was last updated. Clicking the 'Any date' filter displays a calendar where you define the range of time for the search.
Sort files in alphabetical or reverse alphabetical order by clicking the 'Title' arrow. Clicking 'Size' sorts your files and documents according to their file size and finally, clicking 'Last updated' arranges the items in timeline order.
