Introduction
You can integrate your MONESQ Calendar with your Outlook Calendar so you always have your MONESQ events, tasks and deadlines with you.
How it works
Once your integration is set-up, you'll notice a new calendar in your Outlook calendar. All of your events, tasks and deadlines in MONESQ are synchronized with this calendar and show up anywhere you can view your Outlook calendar. Syncing is two-way, so whether you create calendar entries in MONESQ or Outlook Calendar, they will appear in both places. Please note: While MONESQ offers two-way syncing, MONESQ is intended to be your point of origin for calendar entries. Deadlines and tasks created in MONESQ appear as events in Outlook Calendar. If you wish to create deadlines and tasks in Outlook Calendar and have them sync to MONESQ, you must create them as events in Outlook Calendar. While these will be visible in your MONESQ calendar, they will appear as events, not deadlines or tasks.
Integrating with Microsoft
Once logged in, click your profile image in the upper right corner of the screen and select 'Personal settings':
From the 'Profile' screen, select the 'Calendar Sync' tab:
Click on 'Microsoft Outlook.' If you are not already logged in to Microsoft, you will be prompted to log in. Once you have logged in, you will see a permissions screen outlining the information Outlook will share with MONESQ. Click 'Yes' to allow:
You will be redirected to a calendar sync screen in MONESQ. Create a new calendar in MONESQ and provide a calendar name, or select a MONESQ calendar to synchronize with Outlook and click the 'Sync Calendar' button:
If you created a new calendar, when logged into your Outlook Calendar, you will now see that calendar in your list of Outlook calendars:
Changing which Microsoft account to sync with
Log in to MONESQ and click your profile image.
From the 'Profile' screen, select the 'Calendar Sync' tab.
Click the Ellipse menu to the right of 'Microsoft' and select 'Change account':
Select another account from the list, or click 'Use another account:
Once logged in, follow the steps outlined above to set up syncing with your alternate Microsoft account.
Changing which calendar to sync
Log in to MONESQ and click your profile image.
From the 'Profile' screen, select the 'Calendar Sync' tab.
Click the Ellipse menu to the right of 'Microsoft' and select 'Change calendar':
You will be directed to the 'Set calendar sync' screen, where you can create a new calendar to sync or select a different calendar. When you're ready, click the 'Sync calendar' button.
To stay connected but stop the calendar from syncing:
Log in to MONESQ and click your profile image.
From the 'Profile' screen, select the 'Calendar Sync' tab.
Click the Ellipse menu to the right of 'Microsoft' and select 'Turn off sync':
You will be asked to confirm your decision. Click 'No' or 'Yes, stop':
You will see a green confirmation bar indicating that your calendar has stopped syncing:
Your Microsoft account will remain connected, but the calendar will stop syncing. To start syncing again, select 'Sync calendar' from the ellipses menu:
Disconnecting your Microsoft account
Log in to MONESQ and click your profile image.
From the 'Profile' screen, select the 'Calendar Sync' tab.
Click the Ellipse menu to the right of 'Microsoft' and select 'Disconnect Microsoft account':
You will be asked to confirm your intention to disconnect your Microsoft account. Click 'Yes, disconnect' or 'No':
You will see a brief confirmation message at the top of your screen indicating that your account is disconnected:
