Moving files or folders

At times it may be necessary to move files of folders.  You can do this in MONESQ in two ways:

Drag-and-drop

MONESQ allows you to drag and drop files or folders into child folders located within the same parent folder.  To move a file or folder to a different folder entirely, you must move it using the menu instead.

To Drag and drop a file or folder:

Log in to MONESQ, and click File Storage from the left navigation menu:

Search for, or navigate to the folder or file you wish to move:

Once you have located the folder or file you wish to move, click and hold the item and drag it to the folder you'd like to move it to:

You will be prompted with a screen summarizing your file or folder move.  If you wish to proceed, click, 'Yes, move". If you wish to cancel, click 'Cancel':

You may also move files or folders using the menu:

Search for, or navigate to the folder or file you wish to move:

Click the ellipses menu to the right of the file or folder you wish to move and click 'Move':

Browse to the folder you wish to move this file or folder to and click to select it. You may select a folder within the current folder, or click 'All files' to browse to a different folder entirely:

You will be prompted with a screen summarizing your file or folder move.  If you wish to proceed, click, 'Yes, move". If you wish to cancel, click 'Cancel':
